E komo mai,

Our Mission for over 10 years has been to provide our community, young and old alike, with the opportunity to experience and become more educated about the history and benefits of Hawaiian outrigger canoeing and perpetuate the Hawaiian culture from which the sport was born.

We strive  to create a positive environment based on mutual respect and fun competition, rather than a win at all cost attitude.  Our goal is to instill good sportsmanship in every facet of our club. We like to call it ALOHA.

Our club is open to everyone from high school age  and up.  Interest, enthusiasm and a willingness to participate are the only criteria. This sport allows the entire family to participate well into their 70’s!

The best part is that no experience is necessary!

Our coaches have always used positive encouragement and provided excellent training with a positive attitude. We desire to give everyone the opportunity to be better than they thought they could be and at lift you to a level we believe you can be. If you are coachable and like constructive criticism then you will benefit and get better.

2018 is is going to be an amazing year as we not only paddle in Texas but expand our experience and attend an out of state race or two.  Aaron Olds had the vision in 2004 to bring Hawaiian outrigger canoe paddling to North Texas.  With the help of 6 others (and many more along the way); our club was formed.  The journey has been long and not always easy, but it has been worth it.  The club has grown just as we had hoped and dreamed and we are still going strong.  With a great group of members and supporters we have become the best little canoe club in Texas. We want to say Mahalo to those that have supported us all these years.    Mahalo nui and we hope you will come back and paddle or visit us.

We would love for you to be a part of our continued journey and become a part of our hiSTORY.

The Aloha Spirit, Good people, Good times, and of course Paddling make us who we are.
